Jonathan Salinas
Jonathan Salinas founded Plymouth Lane Capital Management in 2013 after working at Marble Arch Investments and ZBI Equities. Jonathan focuses on behavioral inefficiencies and temporary dislocations in investor perception to find idiosyncratic special situations with significant upside. His high tolerance for volatility and low net exposure mean that he owns securities that appear to “have a lot of hair on them.” He balances out the portfolio with very high quality businesses that have multi-year runways to compound earnings as well as a short book that has an emphasis on terminal shorts. Jonathan is an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School where he teaches Applied Security Analysis and Distressed Investing.
