Mark Leonard
Mark Leonard, a former venture capitalist, founded Constellation Software in 1995. Since the technology company was first listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2006, its stock has returned 7,700 percent (35 percent CAGR). Constellation has been one of the best performing stocks in North America over the last decade in part due to its acquisition track record. Constellation Software has raised only $100 million of equity and now has a market cap of $8 billion and revenues of approximately $1.7 billion. To date, it has also paid $340 million in dividends to its investors. At the 2015 Santangel’s Investor Forum, Mark will speak about the company’s investment philosophy and share lessons from Constellation’s capital allocation decisions over the last two decades.
